Find your people.

Not just your next match. Most people who stop playing padel stop because the group chat went quiet. paduno is built so that arriving on your own is the start of something, not a one-off.

Ways in

Pick whichever suits you. None of them requires the one before it.

  • Play again

After every game, tick anyone you'd happily play with again. If they tick you too, they become your people: you see when they've booked, and the four of you can start a crew. Nobody sees who didn't tick them.

  • Find a regular partner

Played well with someone? Book Social Doubles together next time, then enter the League as a pair. A regular partner is the fastest way to improve.

    Planned How Social Doubles works
  • Join a crew

A crew is a named group of players who play together regularly. Join one that plays near you and at your kind of level.

  • Start a crew

Already have a WhatsApp group of people who play? Give it a name and a captain, and it becomes a crew with its own page and its own fixtures.

  • Women-only community

Women-only sessions run by women captains, at every level, with clear session rules and photography consent built in.

    Planned Women's & inclusive sessions
  • Beginner-friendly groups

First Timers sessions, rackets included, capped at a low level band. The group you start with tends to be the group you keep playing with.

Crew, pair or court?

Three words that get muddled. They mean different things at paduno.

A court
Four players, two a side. Always. This is fixed by the sport.
A pair
Two players on the same side of the net. In Social Doubles, a League or an Open your pair stays the same. In an Americano or a Mexicano it changes every round.
A crew
A community of players — four, fourteen or forty — who play together regularly and share a name. A crew is not a team on court. When a crew plays, its members still play as pairs, four to a court.

How we look after it

A community only works if everyone in it feels welcome. These are the commitments behind every paduno session.

Community code of conduct

  • Solo is normal. Most people book on their own. Nobody asks who you came with.
  • Level-matched.Sessions are banded by level so you're neither carried nor carrying.
  • A captain on every session.Somebody whose job is to make sure everyone gets a good evening, and who you can talk to if something isn't right.
  • Photos with consent.Nobody is photographed or posted without saying yes. Our photography policy.
  • After the game.Area group chats for finding a partner, swapping a place when plans change, and sorting out the pub. You'll get the link after your first session.
